The First time Bike Riding

My first time riding a bike was kind of skary. I thout mama was holding me but she was not.I in joy bike riding now!

Now it is summer! We have a pool. it is big. We get to go bowling, yay. We can play outside after dinner. I love summer. Summer is fun.

Summer Solstice Party!

We had a summer Solstice party! It was on, you guessed it, summer Solstice! We played in the pool, made sun catchers, and ate. the best part was when Patches came home.

In the pool, we did a whirlpool, and dove for sinkies. All of the sun catchers were used up. they were really cool.

A bunch of friends came. “Friends” included Co-op, Some of our Girl Scout troop, and more. Let’s do it again!

Exhausted

I’m sitting here trying to write this blog since I’ve been so behind with it, but I’m coming up blank. I think my brain died a few days ago when I was a little less exhausted. My body is on auto-pilot, knowing that I have to go to the house and paint, or pull up carpet, or mow the yard. It doesn’t require much brain power, which is good since I can’t produce much anyway.

So far the living room is painted and all the window treatments are down. The bedroom is painted and the carpet is pulled up. The craft room is painted but still needs a second coat. The dining room wallpaper has been an experience. Grandma and I have pulled down the first layer, found a skim coat underneath with about four other coats of wallpaper underneath that. We’ve been trying to get that down but where the plaster was cracked it pulled it down too. So now I’ve got holey walls. There is a plan in place to get that fixed but it won’t happen for another week. There are a few other things going on that need to be fixed too. Even with all that we are making progress. It might be a little at a time but it’s still progress.

Time 4 Learning

I have just started Time4Learning! Time4learning is a place where you can learn many different topics, such as science,math, and writing. I have done two lessons of writing and 1/4 lesson of math. For math I did graphs. For writing I have done synonyms and homophones.

End of Year Ceremony

At the end of year ceremony, I bridged! I am a Junior now! As I went on the bridge, I realized that I was lucky to be bridging to my friends. It was kind of embarrassing when the Juniors chanted ” Juniors, Juniors, Welcome to Juniors! I was sad to leave Mama.

I also was yearbook staff, like you know. Once I saw the yearbook, I wanted to do it again. I love the yearbook!

They had lots of dessert there. We brought cookies and ambrosia. I only ate two cookies, a mini cupcake and one of Helen’s brownies.. (AT the Ceremony)

I am a yearbook maker! that means that I have been making layouts for the yearbook. I have done many pages, including a Camp Graham page, a Junior Page, and so on. I also did the front cover! I cannot wait to see it all. I have a very fun time doing it. It is hard work but it is fun. I think I m going to do it again!

If you have never done yearbook layout, then you should try it! At first, I thought It wasn’t fun, but then I changed my mind.
